J was there in Oct.2010 and this tug was full of rats living there and upcoming to berth which is used for grain loading, equipment is seen

Pleased to confirm now that 6520052 was indeed allocated to this tug when new as she was built to Lloyd's Register class. When she was no longer LR classed, she was dropped from the register as under 100grt (as now, 70gt).

The same applied to sisters CAPE R-1 (IMO 6520038) and CAPE R-2 (IMO 6520040)

Yes MattyBoy, looking at the cached version it was present on this page then captured on 25 Aug 2016 15:30:18 GMT (the day of uploading). Subsequently deleted, presumably as no source found for this number (oops it was me - see photo details!).

However I now have confirmed that 6520052 was issued to a vessel, but was deleted from Lloyd's register prior to 1980s (perhaps as considered inland vessel, or under 100gt) and does not therefore appear in the electronic database. It will need further investigation as to whether this was the vessel it was allocated to confirm which vessel - I'll come back here when that is to hand.

By the way, the Spanish register has the name written in full as CAPE R-TERCERO

I googled it with the following words in the search field "abandoned tug CAPE R-3 in Spain". It shows on the 4th result, strangely providing this website as a source followed by the IMO number.

It's a validly-constructed number, MattyBoy, but I can find no reference to it being issued to any vessel, including this tug.

However I am making further enquiries

I think she´s not sink yet cause is berthed in a river. Maybe if she were at the sea probably she was sunken ...
