Built at Hakodate for late John Pater as (Leandros Shipping, Piraeus, Greece). She was a repeat design of the Ceres Hellenic laker bulkers series. Late George Livanos (Ceres Hellenic Shipping, Piraeus, Greece) had a very close relationship with Hakodate shipyard, he built about 100 ships there from mini bulker to VLCC.
