exactly two years before this picture was taken, 29.03.1982, the ship was preparing to departure from Karachi. The crew was closing holds No. 1 and No.2 and putting cranes on cradles. Due to small list, the starboard derrick over hold No.1 missed its cradle. To be able to correct it, someone had to shift manually the cargo runner beside the cradle. A young seaman climbed on the masthouse to do it. While further manipulation, the derrick's rigging thorn the fore navigation light mast's support from welds. The support fell down, hitting the seamen - unfortunately, with fatal result.

The last one is dated as 1989, but considering the rust pattern, it may be a mistake and it should be 1984.
However, the picture by Brent, I like the most of them. Maybe because March 29th is my birthday ;-)
