The beautiful, elegant, classic 1955-built Manxman laid up at Birkenhead in May 1981 awaiting her fate. No swift death under the breakers torch for her, she was to languish in various hands at various ports for nearly 30 years before she was finally laid to rest in 2010 at the hands of Pallion Engineering in Sunderland
