Union-Castle Lines EDINBURGH CASTLE was completed at Harland & Wolff, Belfast, in 11/1948, just 4 months after her sister PRETORIA CASTLE. Both were placed on the UK - South Africa run, they were normally called The Mail-boats. EDINBURGH CASTLE is here seen at East London roads in november 1974. She arrived at Kaohsiung 4th of june 1976 for B/U.
