Peter, my mistake, a 35 becomes indeed a 56. Have you ever considered using a polarizer? our Dutch skies become even more dramatic when you use one.

Ohh yes, i never thought about the crop factor !
But it's a 35 mm and with a 1.6 crop factor it would become 56 mm
And no, i'm not buying a full frame camera, a consumer camera and a 10euro lens works just fine for me.

With a 1.6 cropfactor you are using this 50mm lense as an 80 mm. Ever considered getting a full frame Canon? (And yes, I know they are not cheap).
