The U.S. Navy announced April 30, 2023 that the USNS Brunswick, T-EPF6, arrived in Port Sudan, Sudan to evacuate U.S. citizens and perhaps others. The high speed transport is docked adjacent to the frigate HMS Lancaster which is tasked with evacuating British and other allied civilians from Sudan.
