Description:

US Navy Gerald R. Ford Class Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier going west past Fort Monroe Hampton VA towards Norfolk Naval Station.
She is the first of her class, was commissioned in 2017, and is expected to serve for 50 or more years. She has been undergoing a series of trials and training since her commissioning. Here she is returning after a 16 day Independent Steaming Exercise (ISE) with Carrier Air Wing 8.
