In the news on the link even about the rudder said, sort of like the usual for HYUNDAI, or I did not see something?

Thanks for the clarification lappino and IACSman.
Must say I am really surprised, - I have seen scrubers on the ground ready for installation on RO/RO and RO/PAX here in Scandinavia - and the difference in sice is ..... huge!

It's like you've been looking at the drawings, IACSman. :)

The ventilation ducts indeed take up lots of space.

I've seen emergency generators placed in a separate and A-60 insulated compartments within the casings, but this one is without the em'cy generator, again just like you said.

As for the scrubber system, it has already made the news:

Not knowing for sure, but I would assume that the IG plant (scrubber for IG gas, blowers et al) will take up a lot of space in this "box". Other items I would assume is a incinerator plant also placed there. Further, I see the engine room mushroom ventilators placed on top (two, presumably same on port side?) and the channels for those will run down the entire box height to E/R, further narrowing the box inerior space.

Not sure if the emergency generator is placed there, it shall be separated from the engine room, which of course can be done with A60 insulation, but no direct access from E/R.

Anyhow, exhaust scrubbers take a lot of space, the bigger the engine, the bigger scrubber. Do they use open, closed or hybrid system?

No, not all of it, obviously. Engine casing also contains other equipment like, for instance, emergency generator and boilers. I will check the drawings to be sure - but the scrubber is the biggest contributor to the funnel/casing size.

Excuse my ignorance, - but is that big lump on the aft deck really a Scrubber - all of it???

She has a scrubber system on the funnel?

It's a very large funnel.
