Description:
In the summer months of 1998 to 2002, TT-Line in conjunction with SeaCat Tasmania, operated the high speed catamaran Devil Cat between Station Pier, Melbourne, Victoria and George Town near Bell Bay, Tasmania. The trip took 6 hours. At the time it was the longest regular ferry route anywhere in the world by a high speed passenger catamaran.
