Description:

ALASTAIR GUTHRIE - Photographed while she was sailing upbound in the Welland Canal south of lock 2 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada on 30 October 1981.. She was built in 1922 as JAMES MacNAUGHTON, renamed BEN MOREELL in 1955 then ALASTAIR GUTHRIE in 1977. In 1985/86 she was cut up for scrap at Port Maitland, Ontario, Canada.. Original Kodachrome slide by Roger Chapman..
