The Bahamas (Nassau) flagged container vessel CMA CGM LA TOUR entering Eemshaven Rotterdam to berth at the ECT Home Terminal on Saturday 1.4.2006. Later this evening I'll go onboard the La Tour for my 6 week voyage to New Zealand via Dunkirk : Le Havre France - New York : Norfolk : Savannah USA then down to Manzanillo Panama and transit the Panama Canal then across to Papeete Tahiti onto Noumea New Caledonia - Sydney : Melbourne Australia then finally across the Tasman to my last port of Auckland where we will arrive on the 19th May. A trip I'm looking forward to after 10 years living in Rotterdam..what a way to go home!
