Pace, a small bi-directional ferry, was originally built for Italian Railways (Ferrovie dello Stato) in 1973, for service on Messina Strait. Since 2005 she's been mainly used on the short crossing between Palau and La Maddalena, for Enermar and then for Maddalena Lines.
