HMS Montrose is rounding North Head going into Auckland harbour on 15.01.2019. She is on a world tour, having come to New Zealand via Chile, Easter Island and Pitcairn Island, and is eventually heading to Bahrain, where it will be on station for a time.
This is the first visit of a Royal Navy warship to New Zealand for 15 years, the last being in 2003.
