FleetMon has a series of undated reports of MMSI 338242863 in the Gulf of Benin (no other data accessible by me, and these may be quite old) with name given variously as:
SEA ANGEL 3 11 7V
SEA ANGEL 3 11 8V
SEA ANGEL 3 12 0V
SEA ANGEL 3 12 1V
MMSI 338242863 indicates US flag

Similar reports in the same area for
SEA ANGEL 1 - MMSI 338242859
SEA ANGEL 2 - MMSI 338242862
SEA ANGEL 4 - MMSI 338242865

and under Nigerian flag:
SEA ANGEL 4 - MMSI 657190100, c/s 5OGP, 23 x 10m

Thanks Rarcand for the link.
Indeed no info about the origin. Looks like she was originally a small patrol boat or maybe an offshore vessel.
Cheers,
Roy

This vessel was captured and his occupant arrested as pirates by the Nigerian Navy last April. Was found aboard some weapons (4 rifles) and ammunition. No word for now about the origin of the ship.
