Description:

Dutch Shell-tanker ACILA is here seen at Thames Estuary 2 march 1997. She was built 1982 in Finland as SHELLTRANS for the Finnish Shell-company, and transferred to dutch flag in 1986. In 1994 she was renamed ACILA.
Sold 1999 to St.Vincent-flag owners and renamed BACALAN, before she in 2001 became Canadian VEGA DESGAGNES.
In 2015 she became Panamanian FORT ABEL, and her last sale was in 2016 when she became Russian CHUKOTKA +.
And with highest ice-class she should be well fit for service in the Northern Russia.
