Description:
Rabunion Maritime Agency SARL of Beirut's 1968 Westerbroek built RABUNION XX (RABUNION 20), which was converted into a livestock carrier in 1994, is seen northbound in the Suez Canal passing Port Tewfik on 26th May 1996.
Ex- EMBASSAGE - 79 CELTIC ENDEAVOUR - 86 DAWPOOL - 89 SAAD - 93
Built as the British flagged EMBASSAGE, operated by Hall Brothers of Newcastle, she was sold in 1979 to Charles M. Willie of Cardiff and renamed CELTIC ENDEAVOUR.
Resold in 1986 and renamed DAWPOOL, she passed in 1989 to Syrian interests (Ali Samin Shipping) who renamed her SAAD and then in 1993 sold her on to Rassem Shipping Agency of Beirut, Lebanon, who converted the ship into the livestock carrier RABUNION XX, trading under the Syrian flag.
