built 1956 by Fairfield Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Govan / UK, as EMPRESS OF BRITAIN for Canadian Pacific Railway Co.; 1964 sold to Greek owners and renamed QUEEN ANNA MARIA; further names: CARNIVALE (1975), FIESTAMARINA (1993), and OLYMPIC (1994), before she became THE TOPAZ in 1998; 2008 broken up;
the photo shows THE TOPAZ together with ASTORIA (IMO 8000214) on the right in Arrecife on Lanzarote (Canarian Island); scanned from color slide.

A lovely duo. I sailed on both, on The Topaz before she adopted these colours and on Astor when she was brand new. Enjoyed them both.
