Were't the NIXE and NIXE 2 already completed/delivered in 2004, a year before the photo.
Despite keel-laying in late 2004, SHEN LONG and TIAN LONG were not launched or completed until 2008, but within three months of each other. In the absence of other photo or otherr evidence it will be difficult to differentiate.

Hello Yeray

After lengthy conversation with David last night it was decided to list this as "A" but could well be "B"

In each of your comments the name SHEN LONG (currently BEIYOU 16) appears, so I thought you were saying it could be the SHEN LONG in the photo. Only 4 boats were built in Marin Teknik with similar characteristics, which were NIXE, NIXE 2, TIAN LONG and SHEN LONG. So it will only be one of the 4, and for the date I think it could be either NIXE 2 or TIAN LONG.

I never said that she is SHEN LONG, I said we have to look in that region (see my first comment), I do see the side doors etc. but I also see differences to NIXE 2 whose date of completion was July 2004 btw.

Look at this collage that i created. I have pointed out the main differences that are visible to the naked eye. aft mainly the car doors (the NIXE 2 has two and the SHEN LONG does not have), then the gates and side doors that the NIXE 2 does not have. And finally all the windows of the SHEN LONG that are along the boat at low height, which the NIXE 2 does not have. So for those things it looks more like the NIXE 2. But it is true about the upper cover, it would be necessary to look at it better but it can also be from the perspective of the image.

I am not convinced about NIXE 2 yet as her upper deck support is more forward and not close to that small crane aft like on SHEN LONG.

Hello, the ship that appears in the photograph is the ex- "NIXE 2" of the Spanish shipping company Baleària. It was sold in 2008 to a Taiwanese company and renamed "OCEAN LALA". It was later sold and is currently under repair in the port of Tongyeong, South Korea, under the name "VISTA" (IMO: 9323170).
He has a twin who is currently on the Baleària shipping company on the Ibiza-Formentera line, his name is "NIXE".
