Description:

Coast Guard / DND* dock (Adjacent harbour bridge)

Named after Moses Perley, a self taught naturalist in 19th century New Brunswick who did pioneering work in fisheries research in New Brunswick, the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Bay of Fundy. Moses Perley was an early advocate of aboriginal rights and was appointed New Brunswick Fishery Commissioner in 1855.
Although primarily designed for fisheries and oceanographic research missions in the Gulf of St.Lawrence, the CCGS M. PERLEY can also carry out search and rescue and pollution response duties if needed.
