SERENE of Shetland Islands is here dressed for what looks like naming-ceremony at builders berth in august 1998. Building-yard was Flekkefjord Slip A/S in Flekkefjord, Southern Norway.
Already one year later she was renamed SERENE V.
In 2006 she became Icelandic MARGRET, and in 2010 she changed name to BEITIR.
In 2013 the vessel was sold to Norway, becoming GARDAR; a name she still carry in 2020.
