EL FLAMINGO seen here berthed at the Scheldepoort yard at Flushing East 04-04-1970 after colliding with THETIS C on Flushing roads.
She might look familiar for you tanker lovers and you're right, she was build as BRITISH DEFENDER in 1950 at Wm.Doxford & Sons Ltd:Sunderland (#779) and in 1965 rebuild into a self-unload hopper dredger with bottom doors.
Arrived 10/02/1982 at Brugge for demolition.
