I have since been on many vessels with scrubbers fitted, yes, very ugly but as a 1st officer we tend to look forward ! For a fact the deck crew do not like them for painting and cleaning !! Lorna.

Proper lookout from the navigation bridge is regulated by IMO MSC resolutions. This is considereв at the time of design. How do scrubbers which make the funnel casing twice thick influence this? What is an opinion of sea-going people?
