'Gute' alongside South Wharf shortly before commencing her redelivery voyage to Northern Europe.
She had just completed a 5 or 6 year bareboat charter to Brambles Shipping who had employed her in their Melbourne-Burnie, Tasmania trade during which time she was registered in Douglas I.o.M.
Upon arriving in the UK she went on charter to Sally Line and was renamed Sally Sun.
As built she had been deployed on Gotland Shipping's service between Visby and mainland Sweden to carry hazardous cargo that could not be shipped on their passenger ferries. Prior to being chartered by Brambles the French Navy had considered aquiring her.
