Nice shot of this one, they are not the nicest ships to look at and are very hard to work on when in port.
the crew also have a hard time when crossing the atlantice in stormy weather!! :-?

Thank you for the comments - certainly not a beautiful ship but she still gets the job done. I recently read that the deckhouse on early containerships was built close to the bow to protect the containers from washing overboard in high seas. I suspect the crew accommodation was not a fun place to be during a storm.

These old Lykeses are not very beutiful vessels (though imrpressive looking) but at least her present name is very good. :-D
