That day this one must have escaped my attention while looking at MarineTraffic. I had been at Eversween to catch Gebr. Mnich. On my way back I had to cross Rethebrücke and saw MS Simon arriving (what you can't see in the photo is that she's still in the process of berthing). So no surprise with the name, but a nice extra that day.

Jens, you must have had surprise then because according to Marine Traffic, this ship is named SIMON (No MS)

Thank you Denis! Well, in most cases I first have a look at MarineTraffic to see what's going on at the harbour and on the Elbe. There have to be at least two or three interesting ships at the harbour (moored, leaving or arriving that day) before I go out.

Excellent shot, Jens! Do you purposefully go around there in Hamburg to catch "this & also this, but not that one" or you takes pics just cause you happen to be there while minding your own business?
