Description:

Japanese ore-carrier OHTAKA MARU of 197000 t.dw. is here seen at anchor off Shimonoseki in october 1991.
She was built 1984 at Hitachi, Ariake for Yamashita-Shinnihon S.S.Co. This company merged with Japan Line in 1989 and became Navix Line. In 1999 Navix merged with Mitsui OSK Line, and became a part of this company. OHTAKA MARU was sold in 2000 to the greek Polembros company, and placed under St.Vincent registry with the name DIAMOND WARRIOR.
In march 2012 she was broken up at Gadani Beach, Pakistan
