Description:

The 1957 Bartram, Sunderland, built ANNA MARIA S, owned by D.P. Simatos of Athens, is seen passing Rozenburg inbound for Rotterdam on 2nd August 1973 during a voyage from Calcutta to Bremen when on time charter to DDG Hansa Linie.

On 20th May 1978, during a voyage from Gdynia to Tripoli with a cargo of bagged sugar, ANNA MARIA S was wrecked 15nm south west of Bornholm, a Danish island north of Germany.

ANNA MARIA S was soon condemned for breaking up and arrived at Hamburg under tow on 13th September 1978 for that purpose.
