She was built 1973 at Krimpen a/d Ijssel, had a deadweight of 30607 tons, and was named after a former president of the Canadian Pacific Railroad.
In 1988 she was renamed ARMA TRADER by the company. One year later she was sold to I.o.M.-flag owners, and her name was then shortened to ARMA.
