Description:
Stag Line’s 1958 Readhead, South Shields, built GLOXINIA is seen passing Rozenburg, outbound from Rotterdam for Sunderland, on 28th May 1974.
Sold to Greek owners in 1977, she traded on as VIRGINIA M. until suffering engine trouble after sailing from Apapa/Lagos on 30th April 1982. She finally arrived at Piraeus in tow on 10th June only to be sold for breaking at Perama on 2nd August 1982.
