Main engine: seven-cylinder, two-stroke Hitachi-B&W 7K62EF of 9,400 bhp at 144 rpm. Speed: 15 knots. Built as ARISTARCHOS, one of a series of six general cargo ships for Michael A Karageorgis SA, Greece. 1974-all six sisters sold to “Hansa” Offshore (SEA) Pte Ltd, Singapore. 1975-FREIENFELS. 1978-converted to containership by Jurong Shipyard, Singapore. 1980-after bankruptcy of DDG “Hansa”, to Hapag-Lloyd as NECKAR EXPRESS (Singapore flag). 1984-LIZARD; 1985-LEEWARD; 1996-HEUNG A CARMEN (Greek flag); 1998-ZIM ODESSA I; 2004-MSC ARABIA; 2010-to breakers at Alang, India.
