Description:
Built the Astano yard in Northern Spain, Eptalofos was one of two OBO carriers (MAPY T and MARI JOSE T)originally delivered to HIDECA from Venezuela, but within 5 years both were sold to the Greek Company Southern Shipping and Finance, never shy to pick up bargains. The ships were renamed EPTALOFOS and KONPOLIS.
They were of Panamax size with a capacity 78500 dwt.
Eptalofos was never sold again until she was broken up at Alang during 2002.
