Metal scrap already loaded into bulk carrier NORD BALTIC, caught fire in one of holds in the evening 28/01/2022. The fire was taken under control by local fire engines. The ship’s cargo holds and scrap were monitored during Jan 29, to make sure fire is fully extinguished. NORD BALTIC is loading cargo of scrap, she’s berthed at Southampton since late Jan 24.
