VEB Deutsche Seereederei of East Germany's 1960 Stockholm built RHÖN was photographed arriving at Avonmouth from East Africa exactly fifty years ago today, on 8th April 1972.

Sold to Lebanon in 1981, she traded as RASSEM, then from 1988 as SOUAD, then from 1992 as SOUAD M., and finally in 1997 as SOHAD as which she was beached at Alang on 5.7.97 to be broken up.
