GALAXY K., owned by J.P.Katsoulakos, had arrived at Rotterdam on 17th August 1971 from Manila, remaining in port until November, then proceeding to Piraeus to lay up. She subsequently load a cargo at Savona, sailing on 24th February 1972 for Calcutta with a cargo of rice , but suffered a fire, was abandoned and grounded on 4th March 1972 four miles south of Cape Juby in southern Morocco

The scantlings for the masts and their diameters are so large and heavy that they dont need to have stays.

Hi Derek,
I think she is GALAXY K, IMO/ID 5056652, built in 1950 as EDOUARD CORBLET/FRA.
