Great Pic of a Great Ship. To bad the Navy and the Government are playing politics over a bit of fuel. These ships shouldn't be tired up in port but out Keeping the Waters of Canada and the World Safe.

Thank you for your comments.It is really sad to see.Now they are talking about decommissioning the Preserver, Protecteur and an Iroquois class destroyer within the next 3-4 years to save for all the equipment they are going to have to purchase to rebuild the Canadian Forces due to Government neglect.The thing that bothers me is it takes years and years just to purchase needed equipment and everyone is there knocking at the door for the biggest piece of the pie they can get.To me it would be alot cheaper to buy from a foreign country.For example the Dutch they have well built second to none naval vessels like the De Zeven Provincien class.There are not many shipyards in canada that can build these ships.It looks like Irving will not be involved in building the next canadian vessels.I think politics is the root of all evil.LOL
