The water injection dredger Mersey at work near the Scheurhaven (homedock for the Boluda tugs). The water injection system assures that sediment can be moved in a natural way, rather than having to dredge the stuff in a hopper and dispose of it elsewhere. The small size of the ship (45 meters) in combination with the length of the injector booms, allow her to get very close nearby the shore, making work quite efficient.
