Description:

Mexican tanker GUADALUPE VICTORIA II photographed at Veracruz in april 1986.
She was built in Bilbao in 1983 for Petroleos Maxicanos, and was of 45350 t.dw.
In end of august 2014 demolition commenced at Gadani Beach, Pakistan. She had arrived there with her name shortened to VICTORIA II, and under St.Kitts & Nevis registry.

I think she was actually broken up in Pakistan (Imran Shipbreakers, 08/2014) so she must have made at least one journey as Victoria II

You may be right, Pieter, I'm not quite sure anymore. I can't find her in demolition-section of Marine News. Some years ago I had written a note to this photo, that she was sold to Mexiacan breakers in 2013. This morning just before posting this photo, I took a check on my latest Miramar-CD, and then it was changed to: B/U Mexico 28.8-2014 (Reciciajes Ecologicos Maritimos). Maybe this company resold the vessel to Pakistani breakers?
