This photo of the World Jonquil was taken from the London Confidence on the 4th June 1965.

We anchored in Alexandria harbour with grain from Baton Rouge on about the 14th May. We passed the World Jonquil on the 4th June on our way to a berth. It was the only Niarchos dry cargo ship I ever saw. We met her Greek crew ashore after their English R/O from Morecambe came to visit us. They were very pleasant, friendly people. He said they were like a family and went out of their way to include him and make him feel at home as he was the only non Greek.
