South African S.A.MORGENSTER is here seen manouvering in the port of East London, South Africa in august 1974.
She was built 1969 at Mitsui, Osaka (formerly Fujinagata Shipyard until taken over by Mitsui in 1967).
In 1975 she was lenghtened with nearly 14 meters at Tamano.
1985: Transferred to a Safmarine subsidiary, and placed under St. Vincent flag with name shortened to MORGENSTER.
On 11/2-1988 she arrived at Kaohsiung, Taiwan for B/U.
