Description:

The 1953 Belfast built LADY UTE, owned by S.Lalis & Co. of Piraeus, seen in dry dock at Swansea exactly fifty years ago today, on 18th March 1973.

Her previous voyage was from New Orleans to Waterford in Ireland (arrived 6th March).

EX-FLEETBANK-70

Later: 1976 OSIA IRINI CHRYSOVALANDOU II

Her final voyage was from Rotterdam (sailed 6th April 1978) with a cargo of sugar bound for La Goulette in Tunisia, arriving there on 19th May.

It seems that was illegally diverted to Sidon in Lebanon, arriving under the unofficial name of CAMELIA, and was arrested there on 29 April 1978, however soon sailing to La Goulette but with the cargo no longer on board. She remained in port until moving to Bizerta in June 1982, being scrapped locally in June 1983.
