Description:

Quatar registred AL RAYYAN is here photographed at Yokohama in September 1991.
She was built 1978 at Govan Shipbuilders, Govan with this name, but then registered in Kuwait.
In 1987 she had the chartername RICKMERS DALIAN, and it was around this time she was transferred to Quatar registry.
In 1988 she got another chartername; now TRIDENT EPIC, and in 1991 she reverted to her original name AL RAYYAN.
On 23.07.2002 the vessel arrived at Alang, India for demolition.
