WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
This weird looking passenger catamaran was built in the year "Heisei 2" (that's 1990, if you want it expressed in A.D.) at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Shimonoseki yard. It's main superstructure/passenger cabin was modeled after Saturn, and the idea was to keep it as stable as possible, being hydraulically controlled so that she wouldn't rock and roll during her sightseeing trips around Kanmon Straits. However, she was not a success, so she was sold to South Korea in 2008. Her current home port is Incheon, as marked on her hull, but it was by sheer chance that I found her at a random bay in Masan area, just to witness her sorry current state. I am putting her to "Wrecks & Relics" category; I have significant doubts that she'll ever carry a paying customer again...
