The 1956 Gothenburg built ELPIS, the former TANAFJORD owned from 1974 by Kollintzas Marine Co. S.A. of Piraeus, passing Rozenburg inbound for Rotterdam on 29th March 1975 from Antwerp at the end of a voyage from Majunga in Madagascar. It seems purchased with a charter back to her previous owner, Den Norske Amerikalinje A/S, her next voyage was from Aarhus in Denmark to Tamatave.

On 26th August 1977, ELPIS sailed from Bremen for Luanda in Angola, remaining in port from 1 November 1977 for almost two years until departing for Kaohsiung where she arrived on 24 October 1979 for scrapping.
