Many thanks Jeorg - very well done.

As AGIOS N., managed from the end of 1975 by Stylianos Giokas (who operated from Piraeus as Nevada Shipping Company), she had sailed from Keelung in November 1975 bound for Benghazi . She subsequently called at Rendsburg (from Morocco) on 24th/29th April 1976, then at Bremerhaven and Klaipeda before arriving at Dunkirk on 22nd May 1976. She then remained at Dunkirk until early 1977, when she sailed for West Africa. At Piraeus in May 1978, she was renamed Anastasis. She was laid up at Piraeus from 23rd June 1979 until sailing on 17 July 1980 for Karachi, thereafter trading around India until beached at Beypore in September 1981 for scrapping.

Does anyone recognize the funnel?

Adrian, the answer is that the ship in your photo was not MICHALIS K. - her name looks to have six letters, possibly commencing with the letter A.

In the back the letters could be Greek, so not sure, if that is an A, I stay wih my opinion, the 1957 built Michalis K.,

Of course not, so very strange, so I do not have any further idea, which vessel it could be ??

There exist a 1957 built Michalis K as well in Miramar, which is more probably the correct vessel. This vessel ist looking older than the other one, so it should be her. But there is one inconsitency, she had that name form 1980 to 1982, so Adrian, are sure with the date of the photograph ??

If this is the 5394212 vessel then the photograph already on site of 5394212 is wrong????

Adrian, MICHALIS K. was built in 1961 - IMO 5394212. She was at Dunkirk from 25th May until 4th June, 1976, loading cargo for Apapa/Lagos.
