Description:
The National Shipping Corporation of Pakistan's 1968 Split built TAXILA passing Portishead on 10th June 1973, exactly fifty years ago today, inbound from Karachi via Rotterdam.
TAXILA's final arrival at Karachi was on 27th July 1985, from Dubai for repairs, during which she incurred damage to her decks. She was eventually condemned for breaking at Gadani Beach, where work began on 10th February 1987.
