Manitou & Dirk S. Vanenkevort/Michigan Trader sailing downbound on the St. Clair River, bound for Toledo, OH.
The Dirk was suffering a mechanical issue and needed assistance in order to make tight turns on the St. Clair River, and there to assist was the 1943 built Manitou, a favorite for many boatnerds on the St. Clair River.
