Liberian ore/oil carrier MISTRAL is here seen on the Mississippi River in August 1980.
This vessel was built 1965 by Mitsubishi, Nagasaki as RAUTAS for the Swedish Gränges Shipping AB, Stockholm.
She was the second of 2 sister vessels built by Mitsubishi for Gränges, the first one was RAUNALA, delivered 6 months earlier.
Her history:
1965: Delivered as RAUTAS (Sweden)
1977: MISTRAL (Liberia)
1981: THANASSIS M (Greece)
1983: THANASSIS M (Malta)
14.07.1986: Arrived at Yantai, China for demolition.
