Description:
Mitsui OSK Lines' MIKAGESAN MARU is here photographed at East London sometime in the second half of 1974.
She was built 1956 by Mitsui Zosen, Tamano, for Mitsui Senpaku K.K. This company merged in 1964 with Osaka Shosen Kaisha, and then formed Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
In 1978 this vessel was sold to Panama-flag owners, who renamed her UNION SINGAPORE.
She arrived at Kaohsiung, Taiwan in August 1979 for demolition.
