Description:
Posted to complement Kasper's photo of KNSM's 1955 built OSIRIS as GLYFADA:
At the end of October 1978, during a voyage from Baton Rouge to Georgetown with a cargo of bagged meal, OMIRIS had an engine room fire and ran aground. On 2nd November 1978, while berthed at Georgetown, she suffered a further fire and was condemned, subsequently being towed to Brownsville during 1981.
